Tsunami: Three Years On
When the tsunami hit Southeast Asia in December 2004, entire villages were destroyed and hundreds of thousands of people lost their lives. With the help of generous donors including, European Humanitarian Commission (ECHO), AmeriCares and Stichting Vluchteling, International Medical Corps responded immediately with emergency relief and a long-term strategy to bring the hardest hit communities back to self-reliance. Three years since the deadly disaster, IMC takes a look at what has been accomplished.
